How to write a report

Dear parents and students,

One of the activities that you will have to develop is to write a report about the experiment that you are assigned to do.

Writing a REPORT is really easy!

FORMAT AND EXAMPLE

Question: Write the problem like a question, for example:
How can I create a compass?
Hypothesis: Try to answer the question in part 1 giving your own ideas, for example:

 I think I can create a compass with an experiment in the internet with a needle and a magnet.


Experiment: Explain how do you prove your hypothesis. For example:

In the experiment I will use a magnet, water, a needle and a bowl.  I rub 50 times the point of the needle with the magnet and I put the needle over a foamy piece and all this over the water. I check what happens.
Drawing: You have to draw something related to the experiment. For example:





Conclusion: Write if your hypothesis (Point 1) was true or false. For example:

My hypothesis was correct because I could create a compass at home. It points always to North because of the magnetic field in the Earth.
